Initial Desert Revamp Impressions

Brace yourself because this is no yes-man club.
Upsides:
1. New POIs are "nice". Sadly gear wise they seem to add little with the current lvl 10 enchanting "meta" still being unbalanced mess.
2. Desert is visually more interesting. The air shimmer effect is a nice touch. I always liked the audio there.
Downsides:
1. Mob spawns outside the new POIs still make little sense, they feel randomly thrown in, in many places get in the way of travel, in other are really sparse and offer no benefit.
2. I don't stop, look at mobs and go "this look like a nice solo, small group farm spot".
3. Mob spawns outside the new POIs are bugged and spawn low level mobs. This is an old bug I hoped would be addressed this time.
4. Mob spawns outside the new POIs are bugged and often don't respawn mobs. This is an old bug I hoped would be addressed this time.
5. Dessert often feels empty of mobs and content. Plenty of spots which could be nice areas for solo or small group farm, but are simply not populated. I suppose this applies to many areas of Riverlands too?
6. Audio bugs - audio cuts out, same of the sound types don't play
7. Visual bugs - getting flash-banged in multiple places in the desert
8. A lot of foliage and rubble has no collision enabled, you can walk straight through them
9. A bit disappointed with the size of the desert, I expected the current size to be increased, but then its work in progress
10. New resources are a hit a miss, due to lack of recipes
11. Node commissions utilise resources from Riverlands instead of the Desert
