Can transfer materials to other nodes via storage clerk

The recent patch has once again enabled a means to transfer inventory between nodes.
When accessing the storage clerk you can select a different node and right click materials in your characters inventory to instantly and safely transfer the goods. This could be used to buy items from the market at 1 node, transfer them safely to a different node, then run over to that node to do your crafting - this mitigates any risk in the transporting of materials across the environment.
This also works with the freehold storage. The chest itself has no storage capability, however, materials can be right clicked in the character inventory to transfer to the desired node. Means you dont need to run back to town to place items in storage, you can just dump them from your freehold.
On the flip side you cannot retrieve items from a distant node, you can only place items in them. I also tried various means of moving cargo between nodes and caravans but this did not work, so the overall impact of this bug isn't too severe.

I can, however, still transfer items from my Freehold to the node in which it resides.
Not sure if this is intended as there is a lack of detail regarding freeholds and their newly implemented storage. Given the chest has no storage of its own it seems an underwhelming feature if there is supposed to be no interaction with the node storage.
