The recipes in the level phase

Hello everyone,

I would like to talk about the recipes in the level phase. I can only speak for the weaponsmith, but I have heard similar things about other professions in the guild. On the whole, it is fun. But what really puts a damper on the fun is the number of resources required in the beginner and apprentice areas.

I received a lot of help from my guild to get the materials as a beginner, to be precise, 90 percent of the copper came from the guild. I personally made a weapon and a shield, which I didn't even wear for 1 level, then something better dropped. This was at level 5. At level 15, I finally reached apprentice. Unfortunately, I then realized that the effort to make better weapons, which I have been wearing since level 6, is not worth it to make something for myself. Because I need 12x copper and 24x zinc for a mace, and that's better than the rare quality stuffs. And then there's weeping willow, which pretty much every profession needs.

It wouldn't be so bad if I were at the master's level and wanted to make weapons for the final level. But for the leveling phase there are far too many materials to really have fun with it.

And because I'm trying to level up the professions as I level up, I don't have much gold either. I can understand that it should be a bit more challenging, but I ask myself, where's the fun in that? I know from the guild that many people feel the same way. Most people only do the professions at max level. But I think and above all I hope that that shouldn't be the goal.

Greetings Stolker
