Music Mastery: Counterpoint was broken with phase 2 release- when are we going to get it back?

In A2 - phase 1 you could spec Music Mastery Crescendo and start Cheerful and in about 10 seconds it had 20 seconds of duration of cheerful melody. So at the start of the fight, you could switch to Menacing, and in 10 seconds you would have 20 Menacing, and 10 seconds of Cheerful left. Then you could add a third, say Pensive, and let Cheerful drop to 0. Or restart the Cheerful and keep both up.

The cost for this was that the Counterpoint Melody was only +10%, not +15% like Music Mastery Crescendo. I played this style the entire Phase 1.

This called "weaving" and Steven has mentioned it in livestream as intended to work like this. It used to actually work, but it got broken in Phase 2.

As it is now..
...you start Cheerful melody, and it gains 20 seconds of duration, but it takes longer than 10 seconds to get there. It does this because it starts losing seconds each tic. So, its something like +3s, -1s, +3s, -1s. etc. Thus, it tics down before it adds another 3s to the timer. This means that every 2 sec tic it is only adding 2 secs to the duration. So it takes 20 seconds to get 20 seconds of duration. Also, there seems to be some sort of delay in getting ticks, or rounding error, so its actually worse.

DO THIS TEST:
Start with Cheerful, let it run to 20s duration. Then start Menacing. Cheerful will start to drop off and go 20s, 19s, etc. As soon as Cheerful gets to 10s, start Cheerful again. As designed, you should be able to keep both going at the same time, and in essence have +10% Menacing, and +10% Cheerful on at the same time, indefinitely, hence "weaving" back and forth.

But what you will actually find is that, when you switch back to Cheerful, lets call it Cheerful#2, Menacing has not powered up to 20 Seconds. its at like 17s. So now you only have 7s before you have to switch back to charge Menacing #2. Not surprisingly you cant get it to 20s, more like 14s. So you switch to Cheerful #3, but only have 4s to charge it. etc etc. Each time you switch you lose 3-4 seconds, and cant even make it to 10s anymore. After switching back and forth only 4-5 times, you are basically down to zero duration on each Melody, and you are better off just using Music Mastery Crescendo to start with. since at least with that you can let it ride a bit and get up to +15%.

Please. Please. Please take a look at this and fix Bard Weaving! I have been submitting bug reports for a month. It should be a simple toggle to fix. It will allow groups to add a Rogue or Summoner, instead of a second Bard, but still benefit from a second Bard if one wants to join. It is a challenging playstyle as well, and makes the Bard even more fun to play!
