DirectX 12 Question
I am trying to launch my game for the first time and keep getting the message that I need to be able to support DirectX 12.
I did the DirectX diag tool to see what I am running and am running 12, what can I do to get the game to run on my PC. Any help would be appreciated.

It seems you're encountering the "DirectX 12 is required to run this application" error when launching Ashes of Creation, despite your system indicating that DirectX 12 is installed. This issue has been reported by other players as well. Here are some steps that have helped others resolve this problem:
Update Windows to the Latest Version:
Ensure your operating system is fully updated. Some users have found that updating to Windows 10 version 20H2 or higher resolves the issue.
Install the DirectX End-User Runtime:
Download and install the DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer from Microsoft's official website. This can replace any missing DirectX files that might be causing the error.
Update Graphics Drivers:
Visit your GPU manufacturer's website (NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel) to download and install the latest drivers for your graphics card.
Check GPU Compatibility:
Verify that your graphics card supports DirectX 12. Some older GPUs, even if they claim DirectX 12 support, may have limited compatibility.
Set Dedicated GPU as Default:
If you're using a laptop with both integrated and dedicated graphics, ensure that the game is set to run using the dedicated GPU. You can adjust this setting in the NVIDIA Control Panel or AMD Radeon Settings.
Reinstall the Game:
As a last resort, consider uninstalling and then reinstalling Ashes of Creation to ensure all game files are correctly installed.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it would be advisable to contact Ashes of Creation's support team or consult their official forums for further assistance.
