Code 33 on ethernet, not on WiFi

Hello all,
I have encountered a very unusual issue - when I am connected to my router using WiFi, I have no issue logging in and playing the game... however, when I connect to the same router using hard wired ethernet, I can login but hang coming into character select and eventually get a Code 33 time out error.
Diagnosed after dozens of attempts, and I used my cloud PC to verify that the account in question is fine and that I can login from a different IP and/or MAC address - works fine on the cloud PC.
I have repaired my install, done a windows factory reset on both my WiFi and Ethernet adapters, tried static and DHCP based IP/DNS options, and more, but I can't seem to get it work via Ethernet (which would be the preferred medium, of course).
At a loss as to what else I could do, and/or why the game client would work on one, but not the other. Any guidance/suggestions/fixes would be most appreciated.
