solo grinding vs group and Difficulty of mobs
I have an LV 25 Bard and an LV 25 Fighter.
Playing as a fighter solo, grinding feels bad. Mobs tank too much HP, and there are just not enough of them in the game to farm as a solo player. I don't understand this one-by-one killing and see no point in killing mobs this way.
When I play a bard I can group kill heal and dispel there is zero danger as a bard or a healer it's very enjoyable playing a bard you do not worry about pulling too many because you have heals and you know what you can handle not like you know what the group you are in can.
Healer and bard are the two classes that can solo easy this is because of heals, ranger and mage can kit but they can die fast if they fail to root.
Because grinding one mob at a time is not just boring you end up loosening money ttk vs other ways to make money is so bad.
Bard and healer are not affected by this because they can group up a lot of mobs at one time making less ttk but more income since you can do x4 the amount of kill in the time a DPS can with him sitting and resting.
This is mostly 3-star mobs that's the problem

why not keep 3star mobs and have the for dungeons ''group'' content and have 1star or 2star for solo grinding
lower the hp on 1star and 2 stars and bring up the pop of the mobs ''it's really bad''
allow all class to solo grind mobs in group pulls of 4-10 at a time ''depending on gear'' would be more enjoyable than killing one at a time.
and also the fact that only 2 class can pull this off just means the bard and healer will more likely to just solo grind than join for group.
On top of this to encourage more group game plays increase the drop rate on 3-star mobs and give them a little more hp.
Plz, fix the solo content of the game. Every player that enjoys solo grinding is just going to avoid playing this game because it is more punishing to play solo than group and that alone just feels like we are being forced to play the game the way the developers won't 'not the way we want to play'

I note both Ashes and BDO in comparison because they do the same thing wrong in different directions. In BDO my character is god like and nothing harms me. I mow things down and ignore every mechanic imaginable. Even when they wanted to build hard zones in later expansions it was only 'hard' because it hit hard and cc doesn't generally have a lot of agency in how often and effectively you can manage it. This leads to the 'fun' being 'clear speed in large areas'. Ashes cannot be designed this way and it's not a very dynamic way to make combat fun so it has some hard limits. Ashes on the other hand basically has so bad tuning for solo play that healing is out right required for solo play. I am someone who likes pushing the limits of solo play when I'm not doing team stuff, I also do not play a healer. This means I'm heavily reliant on expendable resources like potions. In Ashes this is effectively throwing away money where as in games that do it better I'm definitely burning some resource but it's closer to 'time' than 'the thing I need for literally EVERY transaction and I'm generally always low on it'. So in Ashes I'm just going to fucking die if I don't one v one 'at level'. And then there is that stupid hick up in scaling where it becomes 'BDO' and I suddenly stop caring again because mobs are simplistic and my damage is too much.
It's just an alpha but having played 'finished games' with these VERY REAL problems you bring up, it's easy to see this sort of bad tuning leading to the death of any game no matter what stage of development you are in. Fortunately I have a game that let's me have great solo and multiplayer play and pvp and pvx so back to the abyss I go!
