💡 Did You Know? – Caravans Don't Just Transport Goods, They Shape the Economy!
One of the most unique mechanics in Ashes of Creation is the caravan system. Unlike traditional MMOs where you just teleport items between locations, all resources must physically travel across the world in caravans.
📦 Local Markets: Each node has its own economy. Prices will vary between regions depending on supply & demand.
🚛 PvP & Risk: Caravans can be attacked or defended by players, making every trade run an event.
🏴☠️ Smuggling & Black Markets: Corrupt players will have underground trade routes that bypass the system… at a cost.
This means that wars can break out just over trade routes! No other MMO has an economy that works quite like this.
