A viable mid to late game alternative to caravans for making gold, a source of PvP, an activity for solo players and groups alike. And it would be perfect to throw it in there after Jundark is added and the oceans are connected.

    I agree deep-sea fishing would be great content, but it’s still too early to fast-track it. Naval systems and ocean content are not ready yet in Alpha Two. Intrepid has plans for advanced fishing mechanics later on, but it will need proper testing and balancing. It’s better they take the time to do it right.

    I also prefer that the randomly sinking ship from the LiveStream not become more of a metaphor than it already is.

    We don't even seriously use fish in the game yet...

    That's the best part - they don't have to do anything, it can be a commodity than you have to turn in at a harbour for a fixed gold price
