Suggestion for alternative system for gathing building materals for the node

Atm the system is gather materials hand them to NPC for tickets which is very basic atm and allows for no real interaction from from other nodes to realy slow or stop progression of a town which is a shame especialy when vassalisation system become present

I thought of an idea taking from GW2 supply yaks in WvW and though this system may be better and more interactive than the current one for players providing more content for players aswell as mayors

So basicly how it works
- Each node will have 3 supply buildings within its POI that generate supplies (building materials like the current brick) 2 will be near the board of another POI and 1 wil be much closer to the node itself so it safer (should never loose control of the close supply building however can still loose the caravans on route)
- These Supply building will generate building supplies over time and when they hit a threshold (every 1 hours or somethin like that) they generate an NPC caravan that will slowly make it way back to the node to drop off it building supplies
- Citizens of the node can mark themself as defenders of these caravans and will be rewards by node ticket for each one that makes it to the node (Mayor can adjust the ticket amount lik they can now)
- Players can also deposit various materials at the supply building and this will generate the caravan quicker as it adds to the threshold (much like the current system)
- These buildings can receive various upgrades by the mayor using supplies for example (This can be done either via support building or by the building upgrade system we currently have or something else entierly devs choice realy)

1.Tier upgrade (t1 used to make apprentice building T2 makes JM building and so on)
2.NPC guards these will help escort caravans making defending them easier
3.Caravans upgrades aka more defence, more speed and so on

- Caravans can be attacked by anyone not a citizen of the node it originated from and if successful the attackers can use a caravan to take it back to there node and deposit it in there node so they can upgrade quicker
- Neighboring nodes can declare war over there supply building and capture them, which will intern send the caravans to your node instead until they are won control back
- If a node seige is declared these caravans can now be switched to war supply generation which can be used to upgrade town defences ling stronger walls, stronger guards and so on, this will provide a 24 hour period pretty much where attackers of the node want to stop as many caravans cming in to the node to limite the upgrades and vice versa for defenders of the node. (You can expand this to attackers where there caravans bring supplies for seige equipment to a base camp aswell during a seige declaration


Just an idea that would help provide a more constant game loop/activity for players for both allied and enemy nodes to do to interact with eachother atm it realy hard to slow down a node progression due to it mostly done by resource drop off which u cant realy stop due to corruption system not realy allowing killing gatherings to slow the commision down for building not to mention they keep half of it anyway so they always get some turn ins.

PS -I hope this in understandable i have issues taking things from my head and putting them on paper :P

    Maybe w/o the POI thing, cause that would ultimately end up with hardcore pvping and all that stuff. I think caravans themselves will already bring enough of pvping into this particular interaction.
