An old noob feedback of the game

Hello glorious members of this beloved forum and developers,
I am going to give you a feedback from the perspective of a chill player who prefers spends more time gathering, questing and exploring rather than grinding mindlessly to level 25.
In fact right now I am still level 16, only 1 character B)

I will start from the most important point of the review:

---ECONOMY FOR LOW LEVELS---
Have you ever seen a homeless elf asking money to a Dwarf?

I haven't, until this game. Clearly inflation and tariffs affects to everybody (well, but not to the greedy dwarves...)
I am getting ahead of myself, let me tell you my story:

All began in january 2025, when a newbie elf at level 7, tired of being scammed by the NPCs at lionhold, decided to go to a node to make some good silvers selling the mats the elf gathered, despite the dangers that lurk on the paths hidden in the shadows.

I teamed up with other low levels to go to Joeva as we tought: "Bears don't attack big groups of people".

So, anyway.... I was the only one who reached Joeva, covered in the blood of the others that didn't make it... I just needed to run faster than them while i heard their pleas of help. It was worthy, the city was fucking beautiful, their sacrifice wouldn't be in vain and I started to have HOPE, dreams of getting out of the rot of the beggar... now, I would be a humble peasant making my way in the big city.

As we say in spanish, my joy in a well...is gone down the drain!...when i found out i couldn't sell anything because I wasn't level 10

So, I hope in the future with AH one can place a buy order so newbies have a way to make some money at the start of the game...because keeping us out until level 10...doesn't feel right.

So, more tips:

  1. 1) The game is challenging for beginners who doesn't know anything about the game. I love it. If you lack knowledge...ask people. Read carefully the quests and look for the answers.
Good design here. We all know that nowadays in other games one literally doesn't need to read the questnever ever, one goes to the marker on the map... please, don't do this misake, for now u are doing good :).
  2. 2)Quest Markers: Every time you complete a quest, the marker remains... also, when you don't have the option to pick it up, could the NPC give you a hint about what to do to complete the quest?. Repeatable quests could also have a different color.
I know it is a work in progress, but don't forget these details :)
  3. 3)Maps*: I need my map empty at the beginning. Exploration should be rewarded :3. I would love as well to be able to add private markers on my map... if possible :)
*I have been looking at the wiki but found no reference to it.
  4. 4)Crafting and Levelling: In these games I always try to level up my character and my artisan classes... I did notice that it is currently very hard to do it.
  5. 5)Leatherworking: So, to level up this artisan skill to level 1 to 10 you can only use grems? I got so many skins of wolves, bears, ravens that i can't use to level up leatherworking :(. It doesn't feel good that one can gather these skins and not be able to use it at novice level.

This was such a fun read, and honestly... I felt every word of it 😂

The "homeless elf asking money to a dwarf" line had me laughing, but behind the humor there’s a lot of really solid and relatable feedback. As someone who also enjoys gathering, questing, and exploring without rushing to max level, I completely agree with your points, especially about the early economy and artisan leveling.

Not being able to sell items or participate in basic trading before level 10 feels restrictive, especially for players trying to find their own path through crafting or exploration instead of pure combat grinding. A buy order system or low-level market access would go a long way in supporting those playstyles.

Hope the devs read this and smile like I did, but also take it seriously. We need more feedback like this from players who engage with the world differently. Thanks for sharing your story, fellow adventurer.

I would imagine that the level 10 requirement for the marketplace is to fight RMT.

    how?
Bots can level up as well and get into the market... more easy if the way to level up is grinding :3
