But i shall post the Comment it leads to here as well, of Course. I saw this very, VERY cool "Shield" with a Corpse on it in Path of Exile 2 on a Character which my Brother has - and thought it would be a Waste not to bring this up and mention this here.

You know ? Things like a Corpse which is already visibly decayed and so on - stuck on a Shield because the Shield is a piece of fence and one of the sharp Spikes ontop of it went through the Corpse's Throat and comes out ontop from it's opened Mouth ... ... ...
I wish to tell here that i don't have an excessive Fetish for gruesome, dreadful Sights or Violence or Corpses or whatever (LOL) and despite me being a great Diablo II Fan in the Past - it has been since - well - "forever" since i can remember i played any VideoGame as dark as Diablo II was or so ... ...
It is just -> i think there is still Room for Improvement - for things like the Pre-Order Cosmetic Sets.
Things like Weapon- and/or Item-Bundles. Things like an Unseen Order Sword, Grandsword, Axe, Bow, whatever,
things which can be done for pretty much every Set of the Game - of Course including the Pre-Order Sets.
Robes of Carphin ?
Why not Staff, flying Bard-Book, Sword, Axe, Shield, whatever else - of Carphin ?
And of Course for the remaining Sets as well. You know - just a cool Thought i think i should bring here.
More spoooky, cool - or otherwise amazing Items are always good.

It's fine when they aren't very important and are being designed for NPCs so we just get the option to buy them, for the same reason that 'stuff which looks cool but doesn't actually have a lore-appropriate source' could also be sold.
But Carphin weapons come from... well... Carphin. The Robes are more of a historical thing kinda (I don't remember them much).
And they're basically not selling those cosmetic sets anymore anyway.
Cosmetics are also supposed to be a sense of expression, particularly because they can be dyed and such. Weapon cosmetics, though nice, are usually moreso for people who want their weapon to show you something about their... 'essence' I guess?
Some people just want red lightning sparks constantly emitting from their black pitchfork staff, and it's sometimes a shame for those people to need to get a very specific ingame staff for this purpose. 'Carphin Daggers' don't serve the same purpose as Minzereaux Daggers, but the idea is still similar. In both cases they're connected to an achievement in the game world, and therefore shouldn't be too connected to the game shop.
I hope you get something you like as much for DeFence tho, this one shows some real backbone.
Upgrading Pre-Order Packs:
If you currently own a pre-order pack, you have the option to upgrade to a higher-tier package by paying the difference in price between your current pack and the desired one. This upgrade grants you the additional items included in the higher-tier package. Notably, the cosmetics you receive upon upgrading will be from the current month's offerings at the time of the upgrade. Cosmetics from previous months are not retroactively granted.
Purchasing Individual Add-Ons:
Pre-order pack holders can also purchase individual cosmetic items as add-ons, provided these items are at the same or lower level than their current pack. This means that if you own a certain tier of pre-order pack, you can buy additional cosmetics corresponding to that tier or any tier below it. This system allows players to customize their cosmetic collections without needing to purchase an entirely new pack.
Availability of Pre-Order Packs:
It's important to note that pre-order packs were available until January 17, 2024, and are no longer offered for new purchases. However, existing pre-order pack holders retain the ability to upgrade their packs to higher tiers even after this date. This ensures that players who supported the game early still have opportunities to access additional content and benefits.
For a detailed breakdown of what each pre-order package includes, you can refer to Intrepid Studios' official support articles.
This structured approach allows players to tailor their in-game experience and cosmetic appearances, reflecting their personal preferences and support for the game's development.
A system that allows players to collect pieces over time, or even unlock bonus effects (visual only) when completing a full set, could really bring cosmetic collecting to another level.
Thanks for sparking the idea. Hope Intrepid keeps this kind of feedback in mind as they expand the cosmetic system!
