Who made these stat changes?

Who ever did this, reverse it.. this shit is so outlandish i didnt believe it would make it out of the PTR... no shit it went live... whoever spent the time recoding this shit wasted their time... revert it back to how it was.

I do believe this is simply there to make feedback easier, because the effect of the gear stat changes is more visible and easier to understand/track.

They definitely better change it to waaaay lower stat values closer to release.

when my buddy told me how these new stats looked on PTR i thought he was fucking with me, thats how outlandish they are.. i feel like they can track decimals just as easily

Please keep in mind, as an alpha server, we are currently pre-PTR in terms of testing hierarchy.

So, not only did this not make it to live, it didn't even make.it to PTR yet, as a PTR server for Ashes doesn't exist yet.

I get you don't like it, I get you're angry or upset of some shit - just remember that this is EXACTLY what an alpha server is for. This is literally what you paid to experience.

Also keep in mind, Intrepid aren't going to learn much about their game by things being right. You learn far more when things aren't right than when they are. It is in this games long term best interest for alpha players to often be frustrated while Intrepid learn.

That doesn't mean you shouldn't communicate that the changes were shit - just saying that you should expect it.

You must not realize there is a PTR server... you just didnt pay enough to get into it

I do indeed realize that, and spend more time there than the regular alpha server.

That server is not a PTR though, it is an alpha-PTR. The point of it is not what you think it is. It is primarily about targeted testing.

The notion of needing a test server before putting an update to an alpha server is ridiculous.

So you play on server that is called "PTR server" that target tests changes before it goes live on the "Non PTR designated server"

i see... this conversation must be going through google translate if you think that makes sense. I see you in every forum discussion and never once have i thought you had a good take... but that could of just been because you want a pve game and hate that ashes is pvp driven... but this posts just tops the cake...

sorry, i dont understand how your alpha-PTR server is not a PTR but you still have to refer to it as a PTR and ashes refers to it as a PTR and it serves the same purpose of a PTR but you dont view it as a PTR but still call it an alpha-PTR, the gymnastics you need to go through

My point is that all servers right now are test servers. There is no live server. Expect things to be pushed to the test server you are on that break things, because this is a test.

Your arguing the semantics instead of the point he actually made. He's right, you do the same thing in every post you make. The "it's an alpha guys, trust" copium.

He made a valid point. His feedback is valid whether it's live or test. You seem to misunderstand that many people do play this as a game and not as a test. Whether that's right or not is debatable, but his money is a green as yours.

A very significant number of people in my guild are simply not logging in anymore because of the need to re-gear after already spending significant time gearing in the first place. Can't test anything if you don't have players.
