Resonant Weapon is not meshing with Bard fantasy

I will start, that I am just a level 10 Bard, but already I am hating Resonant Weapon. It encourages me to vomit abilities to follow up with weapon combo. I do not feel that it work, I do not feel like it is meshing with rest of the kit. It's discordant. I feel like understand why it is in Bards kit, but its implementation is quite unfriendly, player-wise.

Why not something easier? More... rythmic to match archetype fantasy. Maybe each time you get Weapon Combo Finisher you gain "In the Rythm" status. And your next ability than trigger effect based on Melody that you are playing, like today for Resonant Weapon. After spending this buff, you get "In the Groove" status that maybe makes your next Combo faster? Or Trigger other effect? Going back and forth, mixing weapon combos and abilities for max efficiency.

Really anything would be better than current Resonant Weapon. Vomiting abilities is not fun.

If you are vomiting abilities you are doing it wrong, unless you are pre-stacking by spending safe cooldowns before an expected fight.

I initially didn't like the changes they have done to Resonance in P1, but atm I can appreciate it as a mechanic, BECAUSE it enables the bard's flexibility. It allows you to do your job as a support and prep stacks for whatever the situation demands: mana, dps, heal all on fly, with 2 second cast time to switch.

If I had any asks from Resonance is that melodies are not interruptible by mounting up, relogging or CC statues. 2 second cast time is also a bit excessive, especially in pvp.

It just needs to be a separate a ability. It doesn't match class fantasy. The Glimmering Geodes have an ability literally called "Resonance" which sends forth a Shockwave of damage. Just give this to bards.

The Shockwave increases in scaling based on stacks and it can return mana, deal damage, heal and cc brake based off melody.

Auto attack finishers lower the CD of the song which currently melody you are in harmony with. Running Pensive? If you finisher or cast the ability Resonance this shaves off 2 seconds of Hymn of the Mind. Same with the other melody's.

Add a new talent which takes 2 points which gives resonant weapon to ALL your party members In a weaker scaling of course. Similar to P1 resonant weapon.

The animation for Resonance uses your INSTRUMENT. Of course

They can easily make it a selected ability where you can pick resonance or a beefed up version of fortissimo. I'd like the idea of getting to 10 stacks and using a really beefy fortissimo instead of having to use your stacks on finishers of auto attacking. Or they could make it where if you use fortissimo at 10 stacks of resonance, you could get an extra buff to your next spell whatever it is.

i like this idea, give us a free passive that says reso stacks are either for finishers or for fortissimo and fortissimo will scale with how much reso stacks you have . starting from 1-10. at 10 reso stacks it makes songs x amount better

or somehow a toggle to switch between finishers or fortissimo
