Misleading Alpha Timeline Info

I've been keeping casual tabs on the game for a while, and decided to jump in since I have some time off work coming up in May, so I joined into the Phase 3 alpha because on the homepage it displays as being on May 1. I understand there's the caveat that that timeline can change, but it literally didn't show the news article about phase 2 being extended until AUGUST anywhere until after I purchased the Phase 3 pass and got access to the forums. And it still doesn't reflect the change on the actual "Join the Alpha" timeline page, despite the announcement apparently being days ago.

I'm not really sure what/if anything can be done about that, but it really doesn't feel good from a customer perspective to purchase something expecting to get access to it in a couple weeks only to find out after buying it, "Oh, actually, no, we tricked you, it's literally 3 months now lol"

Again, I understand timelines change...but can that change at least be actually reflected BEFORE I pay for something expecting it to be as advertised???

You'll still get access, be able to play on May 1. It's just the Phase 3 content that's getting delayed. There will be a fresh start server, hop on that, no downside to joining Phase 2 "late". From the P3 timeline: Alpha Two Third Wave Bundle holders, who will now gain Alpha access to the extended Phase II period beginning on May 1, 2025 as well.

I'm not calling you a liar here, but just for reference, when I go to the Ashes main page, scroll down to featured news, the updated P3 timeline is the main news article. When I click on News at the top, same thing. Updated P3 timeline is the first hit.

When I click on the shop and select "Alpha Two Third Wave Bundle" the infographic says "Access starting May,1 2025". In the bundle description it says Our Third Wave Bundle will allow access to our Alpha Two test, starting Thursday, May 1, 2025, and continuing to subsequent test phases! Available while supplies last. Testers can upgrade Alpha Two Wave Bundles to a higher tier until May 1, 2025 when Phase III starts. I can see where that part is confusing, when P3 starts. They should edit that description yeah cause it's wrong now, but it's pretty clear when you get access.
