Crafting leveling past Apprentice.

I'm not seeing how it will be possible to level crafting professions (Armor smithing, Weapon smithing, Tailoring, Leatherworking, Jeweler etc.) past Apprentice with the mats that are currently required. It's not an issue for making the gear itself, that should be difficult, but to actually level it to Journeyman and later beyond seems currently unreachable. Are they any changes down the line for correcting this?
