Secondary Archetype Worries
Jesana
I'm sincerely worried that secondary archetypes will not be as robust a system as I'm hoping for. They need to be substantive and make a significant difference to how the classes play. If they're mostly cosmetic or some flavor or a minor ability, it would be extremely disappointing. I know having 64 class options is extremely challenging, but if the secondary archetypes aren't "real" then it would be pointless, imo, to implement them and especially to say they're anything more than flavor.
An Archwizard and a Battle Mage should have significantly different playstyles, for example, not just some reskinned abilities.

Just wait and see what's implemented. If you like it, then there's no problem. If you don't, give feedback as to why.

I fully expect for those to be rather disappointing. I have seen too many evasive statements on this issue. Secondaries are unlikely to change the base archetype playstyle, or introduce a new level of gameplay depth to it. I'm not even convinced that Intrepid knows what every of those 64 class options is supposed to be about at this point.
