Launcher already running but unable to switch to it error

getting error trying to launch game. (Launcher already running but unable to switch to it) I've ended task in task manager and restarted computer many times. just cant get the launcher up I just keep getting the error.

    To solve this, open your system tray to show hidden symbols. Search for the Intrepid Launcher Icon there, right click on it and select the option to close the launcher. You should now be able to open the launcher normally again!
