Range feels terrible in most scenarios with the current TTK situation

I know it wasn't designed by bucky, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be viable right? It's currently a downgrade from the other classes in almost every circumstance, and a few mainstays of the character are basically useless.
- Snipe: Functionally useless, you do as much damage with 3.5 seconds of auto attacks
- Raven mark: Functionally useless after leveling
- Focus: absolutely underwhelming, an afterthought
- Thorns: useless outside of placing it on your van or caravel
- Regeneration: Useless as it was not taken into account for the stat ballooning (+0.5 hp/mp per second at level 25 is a joke)
- Bear trap: worst skill in the game

The rest of the skills are basically a formality, we have Power shot 1, power shot 2, barrage 1, barrage 2, scatter shot 1 and scatter shot 2. There is nothing interesting here - straight up an undeveloped and uninspired "ranger" kit that basically came straight off the shelf. And the big "F*** YOU" moment of it is that a full rotation of any of these is not even close to enough damage to kill a player at end-game, where most people have a minimum of 5k health and power is softcapped at around 215

    I agree with ranger being rather simplistic and one dimensional class, but I would not discount the ranger, especially in the group setting. Assuming they ever fix camouflage, its one of 2 classes which can be decent scouts, and even now it allows you to open up unpunished in small scale. Vine Field and party strider are pretty strong if not must have in group fights. Snipe even with its current cast time is a strong finisher, can easily take healers by surprise, especially if combined with bards fortissimo and Alacrity.

    What I would hope for ranger enjoyers that mobility of the Disengage and Aistrike is somewhat improved, maybe by speeding up the animations.
