When beta testing ends does somebody know if you can buy the game or you really always need to pay a subscription ?

The game itself has no "box cost." You only need to pay $14.99 usd per month for it. There are ways, through effort that you can get that sub reduced. The referral program can reduce your sub to zero if you have enough PAYING referrals. Notice the paying part. You need, if I recall correctly 7-8 people in your referrals also paying monthly for their own sub the full amount for it to make your payment zero.

Another way is through impoverished regional harmonization. Intrepid MAY (repeat MAY, not guaranteed) offer a reduced sub based on a regions wealth disparity. What do all those big words mean? If you live in some economic shithole in the world, and there are enough customers to make having a dedicated regional server profitable for that region, then Intrepid may have a reduced sub price. There are restrictions on those subs also. They can only play in/on the affected regions specific server, they have no contact to the rest of the servers, and thus the loophole of trying to buy a cheap Turkish or South American sub (two countries/regions that appear regularly on the Discord claiming poverty) and play on other servers as a gold seller/rmt/bot is reduced and not profitable.
