    There's no pvp because none of the systems Steven talks about in this screenshot are in the game yet. Once corruption is properly implemented, all of its bugs fixed and its penalties/gain balanced - there'll be more pvp. Once wars and other events are implemented and properly balanced - there'll be more pvp.

    Lawless zones are the laziest, dumbest, most useless addition of owpvp into the game. They should've never existed in the first place, but I guess open seas is the best of the worst options, so let it be.

    Yes, we'll only have Open Seas as the lawless zone in full release. And right now we're in the Alpha, where everything can change at any moment and nothing is promised to exist at all times in all versions of the Alpha.

    So, the OP started a thread saying no world PvP, and then provided a quote of Steven saying they have no plans for world PvP without consequences.

    Seems to me the OP just doesn't want consequences.
