Forward input gets messed up when you mouse over the chat window (sometimes)

I stop moving randomly even though I'm holding down the forward key. I have to let go of the W key and press it again before it lets me continue. If I was moving with arrow keys, the arrow keys stop functioning all together.
The bug is triggered when the cursor hovers over a item link in the chat window; either in free cursor mode or when holding right click controlling the camera.
In this video I'm showing holding down the W key and when my cursor enters the chat window the glitch happens.
