Alchemy: An Idea to make it different

Hello fellow Crafters and Alchemists,
In nearly every mmo/rpg that I have played the Apothecary / Alchemist profession always seems a bit one note. When you start you can make a "healing potion", as you level up you get to make "good healing potion", then eventually things like "better healing potion", "best healing potion", and "ultra fantastic grand healing potion" with a change of required ingredients along the way. I would like to see a little flair, and a progression to what is being crafted. Below I have laid out what I think could be a good distinction between tiers with the first name being an instant item while the second name would be the over time version.

Powder / Poultice - novice (Raw herbs ground to dust or applied directly to skin)
Tincture / Infusion - apprentice (powdered herbs steeped into a tea / poultice of raw herbs soaked in a liquid)
Potion / Elixir - journeyman (concentration of tincture / infusion with a thickening syrup)
Salve / Ointment - master (concentration of potion / elixir bound in a thick carrier)
Pill / Bezoar - grand master (concentration of salve / ointment with carrier processed out until becomes a dry hard digestible item)

A few additional terms I thought were cool and could maybe be used as one off's.

I know that this is all cosmetic and has no real impact on the game, but I like the idea and think it would enhance my immersion a bit.
