Would you guys be FOR or AGAINST highlighted abilities in action bar for combos?

I am talking about something like in Tera or Blade and Soul, where after using a certain skill another ability in action bar is highlighted for a possible combo.

I'd only be AGAINST 'a combat system so simplistic that you basically didn't need to learn when to not press the highlighted ability'.

However I can also say that the addition of 'autocombo' style concepts to Fighting Games generally has not achieved its primary goal of 'learning and retention', so if the reason for this was 'to help new players get into the game and understand/improve', I don't expect it to work.

If it's just to lower the skill ceiling altogether and make the entire game easier for everyone, I'm pretty neutral about it.
    Stellar Devotion.

They kinda already have this, or at least on the cleric archetype, it puts like a shimmering boarder around the spell

In Blade and Soul is just there to give you an option to continue your chain if you are willing to risk it. Sometimes you have to ignore it completely depending on situation.

Its there to tempt you. Noobs usually follow it to the letter and they end up destroyed.

Ofc, I am talking about PvP scenario only.

Yes, you are correct. Each ability is lighted except when is on a cool-down,which blanks out the ability until cool-down timer is reset for that ability.

Bard has this already in a way as well. The game will highlight abilities depending on your talents and what melody you are playing.
