In the
May stream, we got to see this image of the new Cleric skill tree:

In the image, we can see the active skills with a square (with a 3 in the lower left corner) and the passive skills with a circle (with a 2 in the lower left corner). Additionally, the active skills (and some passive skills) have a 0/4 above the square, indicating that it's possible to add extra skill points to the skill.
What do the "3" and "2" in the lower left corners mean? From what I understand, it's the number of skill points needed to unlock it. If you want to add additional points to the same skill, each skill point will add 1.
If you look closely, the resurrection skill doesn't have a number. This tells me it's a free skill that doesn't require skill points to unlock, just investing 16 points in the skill tree.
In a post on
X on June 12th we could see an updated version and an image of a tree at maximum level (with all points applied):

Knowing all of the above, we can look at the image of the cleric supposedly at maximum level (50). If we apply the above, the tree would have 62 skill points invested. Where do so many points come from if we only have 50 levels? Let's see:
- 49 points are earned by leveling up (from 1 to 50).
- 10 points are earned at pinnacle levels. Pinnacle levels are 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, and 50. Upon reaching these levels, you earn the normal level-up point and an additional one upon reaching a "pinnacle level."
- 3 points are given at level 1. This allows us to select the first skill we want from the first level of the skill tree.
Do you think my assessment is correct? If not, I'd like you to correct me. I'd like to fully understand what they're trying to offer us with this new system.
