P3 overstressing hardware

When trying to run on an i9-14900k gaming laptop with a 4080 and 64gb of ram the game literally causes the GPU to overheat within a few minutes crashing the machine.

Tried turning down graphics settings and DLSS off, persists. This was not a problem during P2/2.5

    It was an issue during P1 and P2 ... even though you personally weren't affected, bbender.

    Especially at the start when everyone was porting into Lionhold.

    Intrepid has people working on it. Send an in-game bug ticket next time you log in ...

    Same issue. I can't enter the game after creating a character before it crashes to desktop.

    i9-13900KF, RTX 4090, 32 GB memory. All drivers are updated with 100% certainty. I've cleared my shader caches and have tried adjusting shader cache size settings. Tried launching after a fresh boot with minimal applications opened.

    My hunch is it is something deeper than just Ashes. I'm going to try rolling back my GPU drivers a few update.

    I have 2 computers and Phase 3 is running way worse than Phase 2.5. The FPS is horrible. Is anyone else seeing a massive drop in performance?

    Yes, same here. Worse fps and my computer froze for the first time ever when trying to change craphics settings.
