No, it’s just not a very well designed system YET

It is still not fun or intuitive. I like the results but its complicated for the sake of being just complicated. This area of the game was not designed like the combat, fun first deoth came after. Crafting is upside down, it was designed to be complicated first and then tried to make it so be functional. This needs a total rework.

I have a problem with this as a crafter, Novice level crafting should be very easy and very accessible, in other words very cheep and easy, this is L0 novice crafting, now i know people will say this "cheapens" the other but not really, if people want to learn the system, find a craft they like they need to be able to dabble in it without breaking the bank or getting halfway to max level (50 is eventually max) we should be able to make a full set of gear that we can use to L5 at L1 and well.....that is like the first hour of gameplay so no real reason to do it....i think this will get tuned more as we get closer to launch but things seem super fast

Made a bow for my Bard and a wand and focus for my wife's mage. We were broke. I have a bank full of crafting resources and can't afford to.use them.

Also the constant flow of recipes for things I don't care about. That's not fun either and does not help casual players as well. Nine levels of grinding and I haven't gotten a single recipe for my crafting choice.

Yep. We either need a trading system in starter villages or a goal-based reward rather than an rng one.

I immediately said that rng quest rewards were trash, but waaay too many people disagreed with me...

I long time ago I posted about needing beginner stalls (limited in what they could sell) in staring zones so players could get an intro to both the stall system and the early game economy could thrive a bit more.
