The Struggle for playing AOC on a VPN is real!

Ok have done some extensive testing on attempting to play AOC while using a VPN. I have hit a wall on making this work.
As you can see from my attachment here I have allowed all the relevant processes to bypass the VPN. Also I am not doxxing myself in this example because the IP address listed in this example is a public NordVPN IP address.
The problem that I have is that when I go to connect to the server worker and play the game (With the VPN enabled) the game reverts back to the login screen and I don't get a connection. Intrepid may be blocking this VPN address as some of the recent DDOS attackers might have been using it (this is not an accusation and merely a guess)
Now before anyone says check your firewall settings. I got that covered while not connected to the VPN I can connect to the server just fine.
Now i could just fireup wireshark and diagnose this myself but im getting older and lazier. ThoughtS?

Just as before the IP address listed in the app is the public facing IP address for the NordVPN server I was using while testing. As always with using the NordVPN service, I experienced no Lag or other issues once I figured out how to get it configured to work with Ashes.
