Crafting and Processing

I was curious if anyone has done some testing on how to efficiently level these skills. Lord knows I would, but I am dumb as a box of rocks in that field. Whether it is the lowest cost item that is mass produced or high value items.... where is that sweet spot....
I am currently working on carpentry and making crates... I was given that advice, but it seems so little exp for the investment of 10 timber. I welcome any thoughts on the matter, thank you for reading! Cheers!

    Theoretically there 'should not be one' given the design the game uses. You should be fine if you just do your best to check that you aren't missing anything obvious.

    However, most people seem to be of the opinion that leveling the skills is very slow/tedious, so it's very likely that the 'little exp' you are getting is the 'correct/expected' amount and there probably isn't a more efficient way for anyone to provide.
    One of the most enduring 'fantasies' of the human spirit, is to either always have people willing to help... or to be strong enough to never need any.

    I hope the devs see this post... the higher rarity items (rare, heroic, etc.) are appearing too frequently during gatherings. This is taking away the satisfaction of finding rare items and flooding the market with rare pieces. My suggestion would be to radically reduce the frequency. Additionally, they could put crafting items on monsters/creatures.

    You'll need a spread sheet. You need to calculate the processing cost, the general material cost, the time investment (gathering/traveling), and lastly the exp gain.
    I don't think it's worth testing at the moment.

    I don't think we can say if the higher rarity materials are dropping too much or too little right now. Legos are pretty rare still. Heroics seem pretty high. But we won't know until the crafting and processing systems are tuned properly.
    If you put crafted items on mobs, as drops I assume you mean, then there's no need for the crafting system. Just the boring grind mobs in zerg party meta, might as well have a button that just takes you to level 25/50 and gives you all the gear.
