Players remove their armor during flagging so that another player can kill them and become a PKer.

doesn't matter, need meta, is to have 1 guy with crap gear on, force flag someone by attacking them, or just killing them, Than teammate loots crate, ect. Guy with crap armor dies, Repeat for max profit and crate farming people.

I'll have to agree with OP here. No armor swapping in combat. Most games do apply that rule. If they were to allow armor swapping in combat, then it needs to have a timer. A two to five second timer per piece of gear. Without something to regulate it'll be abused.

The crap gear strategy is probably here to stay. But that runs it's own risk, and will likely play out differently once all the systems are in. At least I hope there are some more guardrails to prevent cheesy tactics like this one.

agree I ran into this exact issue and its terrible. remove ability to change gear while in combat or flagged. the flagging part would need some tweaks, like if youre in a lawless zone it might just need to be limited to combat. but this needs to happen.

Honestly... just make it so that corrupt players lose their gear like they do... but no one gets to take it... it's just gone. The incentive is the retribution. Players will kill corrupted players just to make them lose loot.

So you can't loot corrupted players? That's dumb. I won't kill a corrupted player to just make them lose loot, unless they did something to me or my team. Other wise I'd ignore them. But if they drop shinnies I'd go after them.

They still drop their materials... just the loot they would lose goes to the void
