Super Solo experiance

I love the ideas of Ashes of Creation but I am playing the game wrong.

Unfortunately my anxieties are up and I feel my mistakes a little too much of late to enjoy group play without clear instruction/communication, so I have done very little group play or guild activities.

I have reached level 22 as a ranger doing gathering and crafting between quests. But my luck with caravans and crates has been abysmal with more than half getting disconnects at my ends or error 48/37/etc or the fun of time outs while swimming. PVP over them is fine even if i lose more than win, but just the travel as a solo is the most tedius game loop ever, to dc and lose the crate, it does give me unnessicary rage quit moment spikes.

Unfortunately without the drops of group content or the gold of crates, my adept gear is lagging hard leaving me struggling against enemies levels below what the peers can take solo.

Come to the forums and just the talk of cheap RMT and static spawn abuse causing the rediculous markets is just too demoralising.

Again, I am playing the game wrong playing this solo and casual. But I have played older MMOs and known eventually there is people on max gold with spare legendary weapons... but less then two months in... less than the time it takes for any guilds to make a village in any biome outside the starting biomes.

Maybe what I am concerned with this is that in a MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER game experiance you will get solos and casuals, but how many won't hang around as long as I have as it stands, and the current push in the live streams is not resolving the player affected gaming systems or add new game play loops, but to add housing buffing stations. More slow travel to get numbers to what I feel are already too high verticale progression numbers, to fight end game Harbringers.

Ah well, I will still play my wrong way.

This Problem wasn't bad in for example "WoW Vanilla", right ? And that was pretty Hardcore compared to how WoW is now since many Years.

I am in the guildless Guild so to say, lol. But i won't give up. I will find my fitting Guild "one Day".

you have a lot more fortitude than I do, until casuals are taken seriously I will not spend any time trying to test systems

I don't think you're playing wrong. It's impossible to do. Gold isn't balanced. If exploits and RMT is trashing the economy still, then that'll be enough to ignore the production for me. I thought static nodes were fixed. I've drawn a hardline in the sand. If Exploits and RMT exist and throw the economy off then I'm not playing, I'm not competing bank accounts, I'd say unless there'd be PvE servers, but there won't/can't be. If there's static nodes for materials/resources, like lego's drop from spawn A until server reboots, I'm out. That's some no life, log camping shit. I haven't been testing on prod, so I don't know it's current state, but sounds about the same P2.5 by this.
