Disconnect at server worker border w/ inv deletion

Numerous times today, got disconnected while crossing serverworker boundary. Unable to log back in, just kicks back to character select screen repeatedly.
Then just now it happened again and lost entire inventory of expensive materials as i was bringing it to guild mate for crafting.
