Hybrid Combat (NEW element) - Evade/Block/Counter
If you were to try to add "Soul(s)" like feel, how would you?
I've been thinking about this since playing Elden Ring while also playing Neverwinter (I love both games)
Here's my take on it, but I know it's MEMORY-INTENSIVE for MMOs.
Evade:
During the evasion window, you get a 100% evasion buff that goes down every millisecond in relation to the evasion window time.
Block:
At the start of your block, you get a 100% mitigation damage that goes down every millisecond (50% lowest?). Once you reach the lowest possible mitigation %, you start losing stamina.
Counter:
"Counterable" attacks occur at the "Counter moments" 1.0 - 1.3 seconds and SHOULD NOT happen regularly (RANDOM) during regular attacks, BUT they should 100% occur during specific BOSS attacks.
At the start of your block, you get a "Counter" buff that lasts .20 seconds with a cooldown of 1.5 - 2.5 seconds (when used).
I hope the devs keep developing their Hybrid Combat system. I have high hopes for it.
Nonetheless, the game is excellent! 10/10 would recommend
