Hybrid Combat system

I just finished merging the two combat systems for this game into one set of working keybinds (as far as how the game is right now)

Keyboard (Logitech G815) Mouse (Pro X Superlight)
Movement used: Mouse
Keyboard extra/side keys used: All (5x G1-G5) - side keys needed for seamless combat switching (at least five)
Mouse extra/side buttons used: All (MB4 & MB5) - side buttons needed for Mouse movement (at least two)
Keybind difficulty: BRUTAL

That being said, here are the issues that came to mind before I put this game to rest. Maybe I will see its full glory someday.

Vanishing mouse cursor during camera movement
- For a game that requires you to click.. It's really odd. Why is that even a thing? What's the purpose? I don't get it. Isn't losing sight of your cursor detrimental? Is it just me that's affected by it? I don't know - but I don't like it

No homing mouse (for combat switching)
- It would be great if the mouse cursor went "Home" (ie, middle of my screen) whenever I switch from Action Cam back to Tab Targeting

Incomplete keybinding freedom
- You have set 1 and you have set 2. Sure.. great.. but it doesn't work
- Duplicated keybinds are necessary / use redundancy to beat redundancy
- Being able to rebind your camera movement from the mouse to the keyboard would've been nice (But I somehow figured it out)

Unbindable keybinds
- You have keybinds ready to be bound, but you can't (why?)
- It's great when you can cycle through your targets, sure, but why can't you go backwards? Why don't my keybinds work after quadruple-checking for possible conflicts (Maybe it's because I reworked the whole setup, but that's not a very good reason - at that point, might as well lock the keybinds)

Isolated Mouse movement issues = *
Clutch key(s) action combo theory = *** (bind consolidation)

Shop *
- Having the Mouse for your movement is an issue
- It would be nice if your character/toon were locked in place while shopping (But that's one of the problems you would always encounter with mouse movement - I'm aware, since this is not the first game where I needed to use the mouse for my movement)

Seamless inputs ***
- Using your "clutch" keys (ie, Ctrl, Shift, & Alt) for your attack/block causes unwanted pauses (it kind of works, but not 100%)
- I might be doing too much, but the concept would be the same as when you're attacking in a fighting game and you get a "chance" to add a special move after consecutive attacks (ie. Holding Alt for attack and just pressing an additional key would make you use your active skill - instead, you have to release and press the correct input (ie, Alt + E) rather than adding an extra tap when used in tandem (ie, Held Alt + E).
- There's not a whole lot of issues with using one of the clutch keys for your block (that's a plus ^o^ yay!!) .. "Shift" should never be used as a clutch in tandem with an action, as it causes issues - it should always be just a "clutch" key

10/10 would recommend the game

Will I pick up the game again sometime soon? Hellzz nah, looking at the dates of the previous posts and screenshots makes me conclude that the issues I found (for myself) in merging the two combat systems will be around for the next 10 years. I'll find different games to bind in the meantime. It is really nice when it works, even at 65% I'm not gonna lie.. I hope they don't drop the concept. Maybe I'll hop on and just enjoy the scenery, kill a few mobs here and there :)

That Action Cam mode is sweet, especially for Mellee. It has many challenges, but the current state is very usable even if you don't set your own keybinds. What it has are shortcomings that Tab Targeting doesn't have. The same goes for Tab Targeting; in my own opinion, it's the very reason why I wanted to merge and marry the two combat systems. The game basically solved one of my angsts in MMO combat systems: having the two capabilities—it's just not yet ready.

I have high hopes for this game and would love to see what it looks like in the next 10 years :) I'm betting it will stay and flourish. I love every vision of the developers so far - I think it's tough to pull off - But I have a gut feeling they will
