AoC on Steam Machine/OS for Intrepid launcher players? Also a random anti-cheat question.

The reason I'm trying to ask about AoC actually running on the Steam Machine is because in this case, AoC isn't technically a non-Steam game. So it made me wonder, could the Steam Machine run it in Steam OS for a Steam user running the Intrepid launcher?
I'm not saying run out of the box, right now. Just theoretically.
2) Does Intrepid have to choose between Easy Anti-Cheat and Valve Anti-Cheat on Steam? (Or will Steam users be saddled with both?)
I'm not trying to cheat, I'm just curious. I had the EAC (very incorrectly) flag Windows Process Explorer, which is an official Microsoft application. So I'm a little bit skeptical of the game trying to run with two anti-cheats embedded at the kernel level on some PC's.
Also it might be problematic for some hardware adjustment software (and other non-cheating programs) which could also lead to problems for some lower-end users or anyone trying to optimize. That's a bit outside the scope of what I'm asking, but is something I've thought about.
I understand that Steam can be set up to open the shortcut to non-Steam games (such as the Intrepid Launcher) and the benefit is that your Friends can see what you're playing and Steam can track your hours played.Nothing about your current access changes. If you want to use Steam, you may add Ashes of Creation as a non-Steam title so you can launch it from your library, but to actually play through Steam, a Steam purchase is required.
