Selling skins that aren't in the game in the in game shop?

Is it just me, or did i just buy the remnant sympathizer skin for 25 bucks in the in-game shop just to find out the skin isnt even in the game yet? Or are these skin delays they are talking about lasting days long?

Anyone have any info on this that may have bought one?

There are fricking loads of them that aren't yet in the game, dating back years. They've done a few of them. They'll get to the rest.

One thing that bugs me even more with these skins is that they are really not worth the $25 asking price.

The quality of them is aweful, the helmets clip through shoulders, the textures are very low, the armour is poorly fit to the characters. The armour parts are not split up, so you cant use the boots of one set the helm of another, you are locked in to one outfit for $25, other games such as Guild wars 2 allow you to buy armour sets for a fraction of this cost and allow you the player to dye them, pick which parts you want or even if you are so inclined to be a one set andy, use the whole set.

If the character models, armours and textures were actually updated to look good then maybe it could be worth a little closer to the asking price… but this is BDO level prices for Classic WoW level detail.
