    Since its based on Unreal Engine 4, and as long as its optimized to any degree, anything released within the past 4-5 years should at least run it.

    I agree with @TheQ plus it will be impossible to tell until they actually let us play it on our systems. Optimising a game makes a huge difference in all this. There have been plenty of games that are quite low in terms of graphics and yet run like shit because they haven't been optimised properly (yes, I'm looking at you Arkham Knight!) to the point where you can have the best gaming rig money can buy and it still runs like shit.

    It's hard to say what the requirements will be. We can assume that it will require at least a mid-range PC (no more than 4-5 years old). I believe this was said in an interview?

    For the recommended, I would say similar to Black Desert Online. It's hard to compare to any game before we know more, but at least they both are large open world with sandbox elements. Those requirements are:

    CPU: Intel Core I5-650 3.2 GHz
    RAM: 6 GB
    Video Card: GeForce GTX 650 / GTX 550ti / Radeon HD7770

    Of course considering that AoC uses Unreal Engine 4, we can expect some higher on graphics card. This can probably be lowered by turning lighting to low.

    It will however all come down to how well the developers manage to optimize. Really bad optimization and you might have to go with a GTX 1080 just to run it. Really good optimization and you might be able to play on a potato. I would however not expect it to run smoothly on anything below mid-range (from the past few years) during Alpha and parts of Beta, but expecting mid-range pc (4-5 years old) should run just fine on launch.
