Classes?

Hi

so i saw a trailer for this game on youtube just now, looks awesome so far. But there are just a few things i coudnt figure out by myself that are realy crucial to know.

1. What are the classes, and how many are there?
2. Are there healer/tanks/DD's?

Thats so far all i need to know. Cheers.

  • The classes are Fighter, Tank, Cleric, Summoner, Bard, Ranger, Rogue, and Mage. But you can choose to have one class as your primary class and one as your secondary class.

Clerics will be your healers and tanks will obviously tank. The rest will do damage more or less.
  • So basicly you create just one toon, and then i chose 2 classes it can be and there are no conditions to this?
For example, someone who plays a rogue can only be ranger with his secondary skilltree. Is it like my example, or totaly up to me what i chose?
  • Yeah, you can basically choose what every combination of the two classes you want, there are no restrictions. So, if you choose a Rogue you could be a Rogue/Bard, a Rogue/Cleric, a Rogue/Mage, or any other combination.

If you choose to not pick a second class do you become a more effective single class?
  • If you choose a Tank/Mage (or a Mage/Tank), wich armor can you wear ? plate ?
  • "If you choose to not pick a second class do you become a more effective single class?"

You can pick the same class twice, for example mage/mage which will then follow your example.

And for the armour... We're yet to find out, however the secondary skill is an augment of the primary. For example, a fighter had the ability rush which rushes to a target dealing x damage, however if you pick fighter/mage, you will teleport to the target cutting out the rush time.

This means that armour will probably be based on primary skill although isn't confirmed as secondary skill means you can alter your skills from your primary.

    Hope this answers your question
  • I don't understand why ppls starting new threads and don't read FAQ :/ It must be first thing what you need to do !!! :3

And the BLOG section up at very top.

    Also DeathsProxy's videos ;)
  • From my understanding you pick a "Base" class, so for example you choose a base class of Tank.

Thank you pick an "Augmentation" class, which you use to boost your base class abilities in a certain way, so if you choose a Cleric as your augment skill, you've essentially made a Paladin.

Then there will be a "Production" classes, 3 types; Gathering, Processing and Crafting. Also I have heard there are another type of class, but I am not all that clear about it, but it would be much further down the line.
  • I will be a tank/cleric because Paladin is always the best class and then comes monk, but I don't know what classes to choose to make a monk
