Node development

About the Node experience, I think it should be something relatively hidden. It makes me think about the reputation level of WoW, And I know I really hated how these were displayed all the time. I just don't want to have a progression bar advance every time I make any action. It'd be far more immersive if there was no experience bar for Nodes at all (Too much UI kills the UI)
Also, it'd be nice if those actions' weights were actual dynamics. Meaning that a node with low income of wood would benefit more from new lumberjacks or more woodcutting in general. This information could be displayed in the form of quests.
I'm not sure how far a political aspect there is in this game just yet. I think there is a mayor for nodes ? Would there be kings (or presidents, maybe both depending on how the nodes develop) ? Would there be ministers ? And if so, it'd be nice if those weren't all from the same guild. Although this is more of a player choice. Maybe there could be a way to discourage that. But it could also mean that other guilds could get angry/jealous at their governments and try to take back control.
I've always had in mind a MMORPG driven by the players, with a world changing depending on the players' choices, and I'm so glad to see this game in development.
