Well i guess i should introduce myself:P
Sup all, I'm Torchmen! My first foray into MMORPGs was all the way back in 2005, a friend of mine in the after school program got me into RuneScape. Its been quite a journey. Since then i've been involved in games such as Rift, EVE, a brief foray into Guild Wars, but mostly WoW. I guess i'm looking for something new and interesting. This whole node idea looks like its what i'm looking for! Its going to be the new standard.
This game has got me exited!
There will probably be a brightly colored announcement on the front page when the Alpha opens up, but i guess i'm chomping at the bit:P
All the forum posts i've seen say the alpha will start "Late 2017". Is there a month or day so i can focus my <strong>HYPE</strong>?

The first alpha will be launched in Q4 of this year. Nothing more specific has been said. The kickstarter campaign begins at the end of this month and the tiers will be $50 for the beta key and $125 for the alpha. The KS alpha launches Q1 2018.

The node idea is what really set Ashes of Creation apart from other MMOs! I hope that we will be able to be engage in building/testing the system. The Kickstarter announcement is Soon™.
