Howdy,
There was always a tiny voice in the back of my head thinking how a game would be with the best of the unique qualities from the main genres thrown into one giant continental blender. Fueled so much by the community as if they were the ones developing and not simply playing another linear creation. Ever since I have been looking for the game that would eventually bring to light a dream.
I did some searching and found little pieces of that dream scattered across many fully released games but none of these MMOs or sandboxes felt "complete". They felt more like the majority of every cash crop Alpha or Beta. These companies aren't in it for the game experience they only care about how much money they just made from a few thousand hours of work. And to be honest it's a dirty move that, in my opinion, belittles the industry.
As a player, I would rather spend my money on a game knowing it will always be in a state of evolution. A game where I know each time I get on my experiences will be unique and fun regardless of gains or losses. Then my friend showed me TheLazyPeon's youtube video and I instantly fell in love as I usually do. I absorbed as much information as I possibly could before making my choice and came to two conclusions.
One:
<strong>This game is everything I've wished and dreamed for and more.</strong>
At least from a pre-alpha YouTube video and a spreadsheet of information that tells quite a bit.
Two:
<strong>We all know how No Man's Sky turned out... </strong>
If it looks too good to be true, chances are it might be but I do believe there is much more to this then already released... hopefully.
Either way, how Intrepid Studios has gone about this game is exactly how I would have done it. Sink or swim I believe in everything Intrepid Studios is trying to create. I hope this game and this company is what we have all been waiting for. I look forward to playing what looks to be one of the better games created for its time!
