Someone from EVE? Sharing thoughts

o7 I've been here for 2-3 days, and reading about AoC makes me think about EVE so I started sharing thoughts with my corp. We really like the idea of a fantasy simpler new world but, we don't want to trade all our freedom for a fancy sword. It seems a way too early to make a point, but the nodes/convoy system is not too far from what EVE is and will be. We will keep an eye on this because it seems a viable option. What do you think?     Yeah, you can think of AoC as a fantasy version of EvE online, hopefully without the excessive amount of mining you need to do at the start in order to buy anything.

    I've never mined anything. Sometimes GAS with the alt while making exploration/ratting.
    By the way yes, without a tutorial/experience/help you can probably end up mining because of the low risk and constant cash back.

    Hope AoC gets a better "tutorial" for newcomers.
