I'm just going to say it, this website needs a lot of work. It is noticeably unprofessional.

That is expected, as its a new game, new organization. But I would recommend someone taking a hard look at it. The Refer & Win page gives almost no information. The home page isn't even loading correctly on 2-3 PC's. A professional appearance will make more people take interest.

Except the last bit with the KS banner on the front page, the design and overall appearance of this website _is_ very professional and interesting, nothing to say about how it looks.

It does need some optimization though. It could use some more caching, but more than anything else, it looks like the server not having enough horespower:

Very possibly caused by a sudden surge, higher-than-anticipated traffic.

Make ashesofcreation.com great again!! Power to the interwebz serverz!! :D

As media attention falls on the game so does the website traffic increase, causing a few issues. I'm sure the current website format is a placeholder for the final product.

Yes for the first, as per my previous post.

For the second... what do you guys feel isn't good enough about the current design? Honest question. Lots of actual commercial organizations have much much shittier website... I actually think its pretty cool!

I'm with the Avenger on this one. It's a little slow, yeah, but I think that might be thanks to a certain Peon over on YT. I think the layout is perfectly fine. Looks like 90% of MMO sites out there

Since it hasn't been stated, optimization of the website and a forum face lift is on the "To-Do" list for the devs.

As Ashes of Creation gets more attention and it's community grows larger, we'll at the very least need more functional forums to keep up (which they know!).

So, like many things in Pre-Alpha... SoonTM :)

To be honest I have no beef with the website design. I simply assumed that some modifications will occur over time.

Is that something the devs have clearly stated before? Or an educated guess / speculation on your behalf?
