The First Week Of Release.

I know that is somewhat premature as we are who knows how far away from this actually happening.

But what are you're in game plans for that first week of release?

I will create my Ren'Kai tank and head off into the world find where to collect my gathering tools as this being my main will be a gatherer, miner to be precise. Try to gain a level or 2 then start work on getting my guild formed and my nufty guildmates organized. Obtaining a mount will be a fairly high priority as well along with some bags/backpack to haul my gear around in.

Then quite quickly will come up to 3 alts race and class yet to be decided, the main role of these 3 will be as mules for storage but the main reason is to get their artisan skills underway 1 processor 1 armorsmith and 1 weaponsmith. This no doubt will be subject to change as we find out more details about the artisan skills and how they work.

I know the best-laid plans of mice and men but this is what I hope to achieve in my first week of the live MMO.

I'll walk around a bit, find a handful of nodes, see if there is any good ambush points in between, make a map, make some almost copies of my map to sell. Kill something or someone.

I will take my time and enjoy the game as I plan to be in for the long haul. No rat race to level and become the most decorated / legendary in the shortest time possible. I will play when I can and will remember that there is also a real live outside the game.

Pretty sure it will be a normal practice by many but I plan to take my time to explore the world. I'd like to take up Animal Husbandry when able to and check out dungeons, but first and foremost I want to discover the world, I love the feeling of exploring the world, I hope it brings a similar if not better feeling of adventure than my very first time exploring Kalimdor on WoW.

I will probably take some time off work, depending on the project I'm currently involved with. I plan to roll my character, and team up with the friends I will make in Alpha/Beta testing. From there... couldn't really tell ya until after Alpha/Beta.... we have no clue how the game will be yet, and I won't make assumptions based on other MMOs...
