Camera unlocked during acrobatic jump

When we use the acrobatic jump (rmb+lmb) we are able to change the direction only after the animation is ended (cuz camera locked), it will be nice if during the animation we can have the camera unlocked to see whats going on around us.

    The animation lock must have been implemented for a good reason aside from the above.

    You maybe have right, but seems to limit your freedom, dunno.
