Patching Fails, Kicked From Game

When I reach login screen, the game attempts to patch and then the following message appears: "Patching failed, check the logs for more details. Press OK to exit." I am then kicked from the game.

This error started tonight. I played fine for a few hours earlier in the evening, but when I tried to log on a half-hour ago, I began experiencing this error. It now happens every time I log in to the game, so that I cannot play. I completely deleted APOC from my computer and re-installed it, yet have this same error.

The expected result was that the game would apply any needed patches, and then I would be able to play the game.

The actual result is as above. Every time I log in I receive that message and then am kicked from the game.

    Did you figure it out? When I initially was setting up the game, I changed the setup destination different from what it was defaulting. It appears that due to that, when the game tries to patch, it is failing because it is trying to patch to the folder where it initially wanted to set up the game and not to where I changed it to. I reinstalled and patching is working fine now.

    Same message today morning and its still there.
    At Morning I play some Solo Runs and all is fine. Then some hours later, starting game. Failed. Error message, i must repair the client. I do so. Game not start. Error: Unknown file version (APOCClient-Win64-Shipping.exe). Reinstall. Now the Game start. Login possible. Patching failed! Errormessage: "Patching failed, check the logs for more details. Press OK to exit."

    I'm also getting the Unknown Client file version after reinstalling and 2 repairs. Still, nothing works.

    jipp ... same here. Deinstall and reinstall two more times now. Install as admin login.

    hmmmm ... i found the APOCClient-Win64-Shipping.exe in Folder: APOC > Binaries > Win64 and i klick it.
    The Game start to run. Error PupUp: EasyAntiCheat Error: EAC index access error. -> i klick OK. The Game run to Login Screen. After Login the Patcher start ... and ... starting the Patch :)
    Patch successful. Automatik restart Game -> same Error from EasyAntiCheat -> OK -> Login Information -> Patch run successful -> Game start -> i see the game log in Screen -> than Crash to Desktop -> An Unreal process has crashed: UE4-APOC :'(
    Unreal Crash to desktop now 3 times. Can't Play :(

    Yesterday all worked fine. Finished some weeklies and up on patcher launch get "Patch failed, check logs."

    Solution found!
    1. Go into your installation directory
    2. move into the sub directory "APOC\Binaries\Win64"
    3. Start "APOCClient-Win64-Shipping.exe" by double click
    4. Confirm the Anti Cheat warning
    5. Login
    6. Patcher Start and after finished APOC will restart including Anti Cheat aktiv
    7. Login
    8. Patcher checks files and step over to the game
    9. Happy gaming

    My personal full path of installation for step 1 + 2 is:
    D :\Spiele\Ashes\Apocalypse\APOC\Binaries\Win64\APOCClient-Win64-Shipping.exe

    @Thal If it appears that your cursor is not aligned with your buttons, please try pressing Alt+Enter first, so that you can navigate to your Settings and adjust your resolution accordingly!
