Held down the left control on keyboard while looking up. Also tried holding down left mouse button while looking up. For some reason I just crouch. Looked at forums - nothing specific here. Any explicit mechanics instructions out there? Many thanks.

    Left control will make you crouch.
    While standing and looking up with a melee weapon, hold left button for power and release.
    (I'm gonna try to join a match to double-check that)

    Isnt the simple air dash better? Or did they disable that?

    Ah, here's the directions I wrote a month ago:
    1: Get any melee weapon
    2: Aim into the air (where you want to go)
    3: Hold right mouse button down and left-click
    4: While you are in the air, repeat to jump even higher

    That still works in-game. (Just tested it)
