    Making cash bought cosmetics trade-able would 100% lead to P2W abuse. Forget what game it is, maybe BDO, but you can buy something like 5 cosmetics a day.. week.. I forget, and almost everyone sells them to others for money/items.

    As far as being generous, I love hanging around newbie zones and randomly hiding behind a wall and watching a group go about their business, I see them get into trouble with a big pull I jump out and start throwing high level heals on them to save em.

    I also like going to lower level zones and offering "quests" usually something silly or easy, but might take 5-10 mins, "collect me 10 bat wings" or something. Then Ill usually reward them with some starter gear or a decent weapon drop I got that I'd otherwise just vendor for gold.

    You can be nice and generous to people without opening your wallet. If you want to gift specific friends you know money for stuff, there are tons of avenues outside the game to gift them some money.
