How playable is this game now?

We are early backers but have never logged in, preferring to let things progress and watch from a distance until the game is ready to accept curious backers. I'm wondering if the game is sufficiently stable to be experienced at this point without a lot of pain? Or should I just check back in another year?

Alpha 1 will take place towards the end of this year and Alpha 2 will take place next year. So check your package to see if you have access to either of them.

I'm not sure how to confirm what my package has, but I bought it in October of 2017 and it's called a "PAX Exclusive Alpha Package", so I imagine it includes at the very least, Alpha 2? How do I confirm what I have?

Hi there - you can select the "View Inventory" option under the Additional Actions section of your profile to see everything you have access to, including the test phases that were part of your package.
