There is a spirit (a type of schnapps, specifically) made from turnips from a specific area in Austria, I believe.

There is a spirit (a type of schnapps, specifically) made from turnips from a specific area in Austria, I believe. Şalgam is from southern Turkey. The name is Persian for "turnip".
